Dave and the band play benefit show

The pandemic has wreaked havoc on the incomes of musicians and performers all over the world. Local restaranteur Pepe Kehm decided to take action. He paired local chefs with local bands for a “micro-festival” outside his gourmet restaurant Peno in Clayton Missouri on August 30th. Taking the stage were local legends Billy Barnett, Tony Campanella, and Danny Liston of Mama’s Pride. Dave and his band, Obeid Kahn, George Potsos and Daryl Whited (the members of Wrath of Khan) played the entirety of their two new EP’s, along with some covers of the Police and James Gang. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, locals on their routine dog-walks stopped by to take in the magic, alongside the socially-distanced ticket buyers enjoying expertly crafted culinary delights. $1500 was raised during Dave’s set, and donated to the STL Arts and Music Fund.
